Pura Vida is my upcoming art pop-up at Island Boy in Warren, Rhode Island. The work will feature paintings and relief prints illustrating tropical and aquatic life, from plants of the jungle to wildlife and explorers of the sea. The opening reception is 6-10pm on Friday, April 26th. We’ll have an offering of wine, beer from Narragansett, and bites contributed by Hometown Poké.
I’m nearing the end of a linocut series based on photographs I took observing visual similarities of plant life and man-made power structures. We are constantly surrounded by both groups of weaving and intersecting lines.
